Astrokind LLC ("we") operates the Together Mode app. This policy explains what we collect and why. Questions: hello@astrokind.space.
What Together Mode is
Together Mode helps two people, each on their own phone, agree on a movie to watch. You create a family account, pick a "who's watching" profile, pair the two phones with a short code, and vote on movies. When you both say yes to the same movie, it's a match.
Information we collect
- Account information: the email address and password used to create your family account. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and stored securely — we never see or store your plain password.
- Profiles: the names you choose for each "who's watching" profile.
- Your activity in the app: which movies you vote yes or no on, your genre/taste preferences, and which movies you match on. This is used to personalize recommendations.
- Basic usage events: simple events such as "a session started" or "a match was found," used to understand how the app is used.
What we do NOT collect
We do not access your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or location. We do not use third-party advertising or ad-tracking.
How we use your information
- To run the app — create accounts, pair the two phones, and save your profiles.
- To personalize movie recommendations to each profile's taste.
- To understand and improve how the app works.
How information is stored and shared
Your data is stored with Supabase, a third-party hosting provider, on secured servers. Movie details are fetched from The Movie Database (TMDB). We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Children's privacy
Together Mode is intended for family use, and family accounts are meant to be created and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without a parent's involvement. If you believe a child has provided information without parental consent, contact us at the email above and we will delete it.
Keeping or deleting your information
You can ask us to delete your account and all of its data at any time by emailing hello@astrokind.space.

We may update this policy from time to time; the date above will be updated when we do.
